how good is declan's moon?

just reading that declan\'s moon will face the BC winner and proud accolade on dec 18
at Hol.  pletcher really wants the 2 yr old title with PA (would also likely lock up his eclipse for top trainer). he really didn\'t have time to wind up PA before the BC, coming off that very fast race three weeks earlier. with two months get PA into shape and wind him up, that Hol race is going to be one hell of a battle.

i\'m getting a bit nervous about declan\'s moon. everybody is one the bandwagon now. another DRF article tomorrow, and strings on every horse racing BB about the horse. i might have to go with PA, pletcher, and JR in the dec 18 race. all three of those guys are in tight battles for eclipse awards (not sure that PA is aware of that though). they just might want it a bit more (and they have an extra month to prepare). still, DM remains on the top of my list for early derby contenders.
