Did someone say Stoned ?

Hey you two guys need to quit complaining. They have a hat and coffee cup waiting for you at the admissions gate.

Besides I thought the game was all about who picked the most winners not who bet the most.

Bring those big syndicates on.

Bill,

Your exactly right. I saw that race and the 3-5 favorite that ran Off-the-Board was ridden by Ronnie Hansen.

Ask the Experts / Frankel

Bobby Frankel has been shrewdly winding his barn up for a massive fall victory assault unlike anything Horse Racing has ever seen before.

Empire Maker,

He was an absolute steal at 8-1 despite being only about 10th fastest.

By the time Saratoga closes he will be faster than Mineshaft and all the rest of em.

Look for 8-5 in Pool 2, none of this gift stuff at 8-1.

Empire Maker,

He has the greatest jockey of all time.

The greatest trainer of all time.

The greatest pedigree of all time.

By the time the Breeders Cup comes around he will be running negative numbers regardless of how far Brown slides his scale.

CtC wrote regarding Funny Cides trip,

\"He\'s much more likely to tuck in behind in the gap thats gonna develop between the speed makers and ease seekers.\"

Precisely my thinking, but he needed to get there first. Other than Peace Rules I\'ve seen better fields in the Southwest Stakes at Oaklawn.

Get used to this gang, because you are looking at a baby Skip Away.

Funny Cide!!

With the expected off track moving him up, he has way too much talent for this bunch.

Say Good Bye to the field and Hello to a gift at 8-5.

Ask the Experts / Pimlico Speed Bias
May 14, 2003, 09:58:01 AM
If Pimlico is such a speed biased track how come the winner of the Preakness isn\'t some horse that goes wire-to-wire every year.

I want to take my whole weeks pay from working at the Bagel Shop and bet it on Empire Maker to win in the Kentucky Derby. I bet him in the Wood and really crushed him. It was easy.

I have been reading what a lot of experts are saying in various chat rooms on the internet and I see where some of them say that Empire Maker has never regressed so that must make him “bounce proof”, right Mr. Brown. My friends dad says Empire Maker looks a  like another Hansel to him. I did some research and I see where Hansel didn’t do so good Mr Brown. He also had Jerry Bailey riding him.

My friends dad says I should ask you what you think, that your opinion is the only one that counts this time of year. I’m very nervous as I type this Mr. Brown but is Empire Maker ‘bounce proof’ or is he another Hansel?

Thanks Mr. Brown
