Just received GP tiks ordered for Fountain o\' Yute day. Premium seats at $51 at copy [we actually want to see a live freakin\' horse run]. Quick turnaround on the tiks, but no thank you for the tiks order, no welcome to GP, no intro to any new amenities at GP, restaurants. Nada, zip. Just the tiks, nothing else. Fine marketing by team Magna.

Initially I was a Stronach fan, but as the evidence piles up, I\'m ready to give him a swift kick to the groin.

Six time leading trainer at Tampa caught twice using shakes on his steeds, with another test pending. 30 day suspension in the bank.

The insanity: Tampa can\'t fine him nor redistribute purse money!!! Gotta love it.

Be careful what you wish for.

If memory serves [not very well], Tabitha morphed from a suspension of Chuckles or long gone foe Alydar, pick your poison. Happy daze are here again....

A TC prep race with a four horse field in mid January is pretty much meaningless. They stretched their legs is all. Hopefully noone was hurt. FWIW one website that tracks this stuff looks upon a January prep as a negative.

I\'m not a LITF fan, but not having LITF among the nominees for top 3yo is a major injustice. Which dopes decide the finalists? They should all be removed!

Earlier in the meet, Calder had a daily guaranteed $100k pick 9, the carryover built very slowly and came close to being hit several times, before someone plucked the money before the break even mark. Surprisingly [ha,ha,ha] the wager didn\'t return.

Awwww come on. I\'m no fan of this crook, but two of the 7 were coming off big tops, one was wayyy too slow and the Saint was only a pt or two slower than the rest of them. Risk a conviction over a $100k race, puhleeeze. Bitch when it\'s well deserved, but not here.

\"Maybe thats why you want us to buy the analysis along with the sheets!!\"

One of the great problems with the analysis, is that there is no analysis. The \"why\" normally isn\'t addressed.

I think you read too much into Baffert shutting down his 2yo\'s early.

His stable was ill, they lost a top notch 2yo filly to pneumonia.

They also had a catastrophic break down to a top line 2yo colt, the names escape me at this hour. But bad luck might cause a person to back off a bit.

May they all come back safe.

Mott has kept the move ups strictly on the grass, so he is known as a turf trainer-specialist. I don\'t believe it. Suddenly all of his stock starts running out of their minds? Sure...

When Cigar finally retired from Mott\'s clutches, Cigars sperm was so malformed that vets had never seen anything like it, consequently Cigar never produced a single off-spring. Just a fluke of nature or an overabundance of Mott\'s secret applejuice??

I was wondering when someone would point out that Pleasant Home had an explosive line. One never knows how big the forward move will be, but for many, its hard to bet when they look several points too slow. That\'s why they\'re 30-1, but you only need to be right once in 20-30 attempts to make it worthwhile.

\"How badly does someone want to build condos on that land???\"

Well, at over 2 million bucks/acre usable property, I\'d be in a damn hurry!!! Churchill will be running the racetrack for another couple of years. The developer has yet to talk with \"the community\" and city government. Deals still need to be made.

Grade I and 3 time GII winning millionaire is worth something I guess. Funny how they\'re now using Beyer figs to promote stallions with RR earning 106 & 103 as a 2yo. By Fu-Pig and the RAN line, lameness built in...not worth $3k.
