$257 million in earnings. I wish I was that dumb.

Good Luck,

Any of us can find rides by any jockey in the country that didn\'t meet our lofty standards. Usually, a parimutuel loss accompanies it.

The guy was once a top jockey on the toughest circuit in the country. You don\'t achieve that by being \"dumb\". He can still ride well, and is an excellent rider on the turf. I never have a problem with him on a horse.  Brought home a nice $23+ Big Cap Saturday that triggered many nice horizontals.

He has certainly had his issues no doubt, but the man can still ride. Calling him \"dumb\" is a little excessive. As stated, dumb enough to earn $257 mil in purses.

Btw,she also referred to Slumber as \"slinking around the paddock like a big cat\".She named Slumber as her \"paddock pick\".

Maggie\'s been unbelievable recently. Liked the foreign made that won the New York Friday among others.

She\'s in love.

Maggie is probably the one subject on which this board is in complete agreement. I wonder where she and Mr. Morley are registered. The board should chip in and get them something nice. I\'m down.

By the way, her comments about Japan Saturday-- \"not G rated\" and \"Excited to be racing\" were pretty funny.

Playing Patriot Hills today.

Some scoff at eyeballing/conformation/physicality but it is a part of the great puzzle. When Andy H, Gary Y and others raved about AP\'s attributes, long before anyone really knew the horse, some clueless taking heads mocked them.

Maggie, like predecessor Jan, around horses forever and has good feel for what a horse is presenting in the walking ring. Efforts to have Maggie\'s time on air increased by a couple of minutes per race fell on deaf NYRA ears amongst other player friendly ideas.

NYRA easily the most smug unfriendly venue towards players, by far. Any suggestion is met with a defensive attitude and closed mind....f-king idiots and politically appointed stooges steering the ship.Fitting that recent Cuomo appointee Bonomo(NYRA Chairman)resigned under the cloud of an indictment of State Sen Skelos and son in a kickback crime.

NY Racing still cloudy picture. In spite of huge National TV/Press coverage of Belmont, Cuomo a no show again, his disdain for great racing game should concern anyone with skin in NY Racing.

Clueless Clowns still at it Frank, quarterly NYRA bash satisfied.

Nice day for it. Text me if you are playing next Tuesday. I could probably make that one.

Preet Bharara is conducting one very interesting investigation, isn\'t he? Two outta three ain\'t bad, as they say, but with Shelly and Mean Dean already in the bag, I can\'t help but wonder if Bharara has his sights set on the top of the Albany pyramid....

Wasn\'t aware of this, but I\'d be the first to sign a petition to revisit the effort.

I haven\'t watched the ride. He has done some nice riding out west lately, though.  He has brought in a lot of winners with well-timed rides. I pay attention when he is on a horse at SA.

Leamas.

Jay Privman\'s description of Keen Ice trip. Reads more like a Kentucky Derby trip than a trip in an 8 horse Belmont, but as many on the board smarter than me have suggested, maybe his lack of atheticism and turn of foot makes Keen Ice a horse that will get more bad trips than most.

KEEN ICE, who finished third, broke last, advanced enough to wind up four paths wide entering the first turn, then stayed wide on the backstretch and found himself three and then four paths wide while moving around the far turn. He had been ridden fairly aggressively with four furlongs to go, but at the quarter pole, jockey Kent Desormeaux seemed to ride him more sympathetically. He dropped back to fifth nearing the top of the lane, then was steered widest of all by Desormeaux, who started riding with renewed fervor, and Keen Ice responded, closing well to finish third.

I\'m reminded that in the late going, usually, its the dramatic deceleration of the horses being caught that make the late runner look fast.

I think that was a part of what made the Met Mile look so dramatic. I\'m more inclined to believe Keen Ice ran at top speed the entire race. Which explains Kent\'s ride. Not.
