hahahah, that is a good one. the race looked horrible. maybe the wind had more to do with it than i think. tapit caught up to them while under a tight hold. either they were crawling along, as you say, or tapit is the fastest horse ever....... still, i think one or two of those horses will improve big time off that race.

4singles2all: Did anyone notice how Tapit was looking around throughout the entire race? He had his head cocked to the right, looking at the grandstand through the stretch. I would say he was green, but I havn\'t seen any discussion about this. Two things to consider:

The Wood was weak, with a marginally interested hoss winning from way back

Tapit is just learning how to run and he could be a big factor in Kd.

are you still looking for the baffert tri in the derby? i would go out on a ledge, and predict a 18-19-20 finish out of him, but it looks like he will only have one or two in the race.
