First reported incident 1998. Investigated and ultimately no real charges.

The DA who did the early investigation never filed charges....later committed suicide.

About this time, Paterno tells Sandusky \"no head coaching job for you\" and he takes a state incentivized early retirement\".(normal deal for Pa state education folk).

Then, as you see, more incident reports especially the one by the janitor who witnessed an act of oral sex.

All this predated McQueary incident.

There is so much more to this case than a few \"unseen\" e-mails that were clearly \'leaked\' to the reporter who has failed to \'trust and VERIFY\".
There could be more to this one e-mail. There are supposedly many more e-mails in total. What was the context of those e-mails? Etc.

It is wrong for anyone to pass judgement without the facts.
In this instance, the article clearly states the CNN reporter \"did not SEE the e-mails\". That is pretty bad.

I am in agreement that Joe P could have done more and probably should have....but, without all the facts, I am not ready to convict anyone other than Sandusky since he clearly did the acts involved.  

I will close by saying this will be my only post on this subject. It has been debated enough in the bars, restaurants, offices and gyms of my town. There is little that we have not heard....and an \'unread and unseen\" e-mail does not \'cut\' it for me.
