fun race, lots of X factors, no standouts

Taking the positive view on Uptowncharlybrown given the expected big odds off his recent unimpressive looking ALW races. After his unfortunate spring in 2010 he\'s off for 16 months and then comes back and pairs his top right off the bat. Then stretches out to 2 turns and gets a new top. Regresses in the 3rd start after the ship south but why not chalk that up to either acclimation issues or reaction to the top. The turf question mark is helped by his pairing his dirt top over the KEE poly. Expecting a clean trip saving ground in a tight packed bunch. Keying in all slots, saving primarily with the TAP, Mott & Motion horses.

In summary: once-promising 3 yr old returned fit and fast; hints he may like the grass and will be mostly ignored at a mouth-watering price in field of many question marks.

Uptown and Santiva both open lower, Mambo Meister MUCH bigger.

Good call Michael D and Monmouth on the exacta keys.

No play for me-tied up with the football.Niners + and Niners moneyline has me occupied.

That was the proper DQ. Very surprised the Stewards were originally asleep. Paco rode rough last meet and not a good thing to start it all over again.

Nice score if you bet it...

MonmouthGuy

Terrible DQ. Stewards are asleep at Gulfstream 99% of the time. Nothing to differentiate Paco\'s riding from 5 other races on the same card w/o inquiries.

Interesting....I just get a Person to Person message from the unamed \"Monmouth Guy\" telling me \"FU\" and that I\'m an AHole because the DQ cost him 5K!

All I can say is Thorograph is that what this Board is about? Ive been on here for 10 years and didnt realize it was......

MonmouthGuy,

Great analysis there. Nailed the key and had a good read on the 17-1 runner-up. Well done.
