sixmoreouts: Might one presume at this point that Ruler on Ice benefits significantly from a wet surface? If so, that could cast aspersions on the utility of that last number.

I can make a case for Ruler on Ice, based on his numbers, but he doesn\'t pass the \"eye test\" for me, as a win candidate.   He ran on VERY LATE in his race at Parx and was mediocre in the Haskell/Travers this Summer.

Additionally, I think this year\'s 3-year olds that were in the Triple Crown races were WELL BELOW AVERAGE.  I have believed this for a while and Stay Thirsty\'s performance against Flat Out was the \"final straw\" for me.  I don\'t want any of them.

That said, Uncle Moe and To Honor and Serve weren\'t part of that and to me are more formidable.
