Honar in War looks like the play here, very honest horse.Even though he has not busted through the 4 yet and the fact that Denon will likely react of the huge effort in a loss makes this horse more explosive to me.Any thoughts on the race.THANKS

Silver Charm

Freehouse good to see you again,we had one helluva rivalry didn\'t we. To bad I wasn\'t trained by Paco like you were he is such a class act as compared to the Cooper from the Expdia commercial/Rick Flair bozo who trained me. Thank god he won\'t be around tomorrow.

Anyway I\'ll tell you what I know about Honor in War. The horse is improving, his problem is when he gets to the lead he pulls himself up so keeping from making his move too soon is what Flores will have to try and do. This may be tough in this field but he is capable. Patrol being in the race will also help him.

Also the other Frankel horse Requete clearly has problems, four year old with only 7 races. I was told Derby week some of those things were the problem at FG and that race should be ignored. I bet him pretty good to win and yes place, he was 7-1 afterall. At least he was until 2 minutes before post and then someone hammered him and blink he was 5-1.

Distance and soft turf sould be too his advantage so give him a look.

This looks like one great race!!

I\'ll make a case for Irish Colonial,  despite being a couple of points slower going in. First, he\'s getting weight from several of the top contenders.  He has the tactical speed which should keep him out of traffic while saving ground at the same time.  He\'s only improved less than a  couple of points from last year which to me says a move forward to a new top tomorrow is very possible especially off the pair up\'s in his last two races.  To me it\'s a classic pattern of a new top tomorrow off of a pair-up of new tops that were not so big as to knock him off form.  Not bad Trainer stats with Turf starters and although a small sample the trainer/jock profile is strong also.  7-1 and up Irish Colonial is playable and offers value.

Am I overlooking something?

BTW, Does anyone remember me.  Defeating Forgeo in his last race in The Nassau County Hcp back in 78 and then going on to win the Surburban and running that fall against Affirmed, Alydar, Slew, Great Contractor and Exceller in the JCGC? I miss my former owner and Trainer. A never to be forgotten dynasty from the good old days of racing.
