This was a theory or method, does any one have a clue on the Belmont secret code horse?
Who was the brainchild of Volponi as the secret code horse?  Anyone wants to take credit stand up and tell us what you think of the Belmont!!!

Chuckles_the_Clown2

I liked Volponi in the B.C. Classic, unfortunately I did not have him with Megadeath. His sire is Cryptoclearance. An all day late running type once trained by Scotty Shulhofer. Cyrptoclearance is a naval term I believe. Be careful I think Cryptos dam was \"Naval Orange\". But the term means something akin to \"cleared for code viewing\". Top Secret Miliatry Intelligence B.S. We learned how accurate \"Military Intelligence\" was in Iraq. Of course there is no such thing. But no Crypto colt is running in the Belmont and unless \"Colita\" or \"Dynever\" mean \"secret code\" in some manner there isn\'t a secret code horse that I can ascertain.

However there are some decent horses in this field. I think McPeek\'s Best Minister isn\'t close to Savara (Who I also didn\'t cash) but the horse of his that I get all nervous about is Wild and Wicked. Wasn\'t Savara a Wild Again? But its not the Wild Again I like its the Wicked Witchcraft. I think Wild and Wicked\'s mom produced \"The Wicked North\" and that my friends was a good one.

CtC,

I certainly don\'t want to get you stirred up but...Crptoclearance was a son of Fappiano who is also the sire of Unbridled.

Unbridled is the sire of Empire Maker.

Maybe he is the Secret Code horse.

Shhhhh, don\'t let anyone else know.

PS-good work on the above analysis. Crpto was in a pretty good crop. Alysheba, Bet Twice, Capote, Gulch, Polish Navy, Lost Code and maybe best of all Java Gold. Remember them!!!

CtC,
dig a bit deeper my friend, you will find the secret code horse, one who is related to Volponi and the secret of the \"Naval Orange\".

Just so everyone knows, that Shhhhh was taken from the David Bowie song \"China Girl\".

A classic if there ever was one.

\"I\'ll give you television, I\'ll give you eyes of blue, I\'ll give you a MAN WHO WANTS TO RULE THE WORLD........and she says Shhhhh.....Shhhhh.\"

The secret code horse is #yfz*bbw+~t.

Actually \"China Girl\" first appeared on Iggy Pop\'s Album. But it was produced with help from Bowie.

If the \"Secret Code Horse\" is Empire Maker, All I can say is he\'s no secret and no one needs to break the code. He\'s gonna be second choice and my guess is about 2-1. He won at Belmont first asking and turned in a nice turf work. Bailey has follwed this horse around like a deranged stalker created by Dr. Frankelstein and the doctor has the mojo and I don\'t mean good luck. So whats the secret?

But he\'s not the horse I\'m excited about :)

\"And when i get ex-cited..my little chine-a girl...says...Oh, Chuckles just you shut your mouse...she says Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh   shhhhhhhhhhh\"

One for the ages CtC.

Also, do you think we could get NYRA, to get Bowie, to come out to the track on Friday the day before the Belmont, and sing China Girl between races.

Supah Blitz,

The horses mentioned from that crop were colts not fillies. We weren’t talking about fillies but if we were the debate would have started and ended Personal Ensign. She has the lifetime track record to prove it.

But since you did mention fillies one of my personal favorites from that group was Miesque. She only raced twice in the US but both her efforts could be described as spectacular! The Breeders Cup mile at Hollywood Park in 1:32 and change on a turf course hard as concrete. Then the following year at Churchill Downs, in the same race, a mile in 1:39 and change on turf course that was a bog. (How about those two variants) In both races she totally blew away the field, two performances we probably don’t appreciate quite enough.

PS-You seem new to this Board, probably a conversion from the Dark Side. Welcome.
