Hi Paul,

Be a little more objective.Those wide sweeping moves are cancer on any dirt track 90% of the time, not so when synths are biased that way,like this weekend. Smiths rides on two \"much the best horses\" were fine(thats their running style)as was his ride on Becrux and  a couple even yesterday.

You can\'t deny that \"wide Mikey\" has more of a tendancy to ride that way than many other jocks.Always liked him as a jock and a man from back in NY,but thats his style. Pat Day was a world class rider but I hated his \"patient\" style which I feel got me beat on several occasions but that was his style of riding.Many jocks have a signature riding style.

Absolutely agree.  If you rewatch the 2008 Kentucky Derby, the ridiculous six wide move that Nakatani made on Colonel John probably enables him to hit the board at SA the way that Santa Anita was playing this weekend.  At CD, he flattened out immediately after the move.
