Actually, there are two reasons.

1.The track at CD has been sealed in the the am for 2 days and because of his  bad feet Tricky did not want to gallop him on that hard surface, just jogged. Today, he galloped and left for Baltimore. Will gallop up to the race.

2.Tricky is training him to win two races and he admitted to the connections that this was unknown territory for him and this horse. All the money is practically in the bank so why not.

BB gets the resiliency test on Saturday but I read this as his third race in 50 days as opposed to his second race in 14 days.

\"Does anyone here have a comment on the way Dutrow is prepping the horse for Saturday? Jogs and light gallops?\"

It makes me wonder how many subpar performances are actually a self fulfilling prophecy. If a trainer believes a horse \"could be\" stressed as a result of a tough effort and alters the training to compensate, how can we ever be sure a reaction is the result of stress and not the altered training?
