anyone attending SMillions @ GP next weekend?  the wife and I are heading that way, so if anyone want sto talk horses and grab a beer, let me know...for those of you who followed hesanoldsalt sorry to say he had to be put down after an accident at the farm...the usual 50K people will be on hand at Oaklawn with completely full fields this wkend (LOTS of big pays possible when they get this kind of crowd)...and our old friend Evening Attire is still rocking at age 10!  Looks like a big wkend on the horizon...good luck everyone.

I will likely be there with some of the fellas.  Not exactly sure what our plan is.  (They like it upstairs - I prefer the saddling area and the rail).

I really, really thought Hesandoldsalt had Invasor beat in the Donn.  When Invasor came steamrolling along the rail, it just screamed class.

Lost Cause

In my honest opinion...Invasor was the best horse i\'ve seen since Sunday Silence and Easy Goer...In that Donn he fell to his knees got up and still closed to win....and the track was a bit speed favoring also...AMAZING!!!

Shanahan, if you don\'t have a dining room table reserved with a desktop amtote you\'re not going to enjoy that day.

You\'d be much better off taking it in at a simulcast facility.

Gulfstream is now the Worst Facility in all of Horse Racing.

Chuck, you\'re a track snob - no two ways about it.  Anyone who would prefer a simulcast to the sun and being 20 ft. from the horses isn\'t a racing fan - only a betting fan (better the latter than nothing, though).

Hey, I loved the old Gulf as much as the next man (and Hialeah? Sigh!), but even then I spent my time on a lawn chair with the Form.  If you get your handicapping done by the bugle, it\'s no big deal to stand five deep to place your bet.

I would take Ghostzapper over any of the three that you mentioned.
