This looks like a very interesting race. I don\'t really follow So. Cal. that much, but it seems that #2 Massive Drama may not get the distance, so maybe is an underlay. There is a lot of speed in the race, so I am looking for something off pace. I kinda like the #12 Into Mischief, but that could be a tough post with ground loss. The #8 Colonel John looks like a solid contender as far as track and trip go, but is the ML favorite at 5/2. Pletcher has been hot lately and has three horses in the race. the #1 Sierra Sunset looks interesting based on the 8.5F times and the post position at 20-1 ML Odds. Does anyone who follows So. Cal. more have any thoughts?

agree with you on most pts, boxing these horses:
1,2,8,12,10

dravila

FWIW meal penalty supposidly outworked Monba on 12/16

I find it hard to like a 20-1 ML from the 12th PP. This is dirt thinking though. I don\'t have enough experience with synthetic to know if that prejudice is valid or not.

Don\'t really have an opinion on the Cash Call Futurity, but I can tell you that Bejarano is OWNING the Hollypark sod. He\'s won a lot of races on that tricky/typically speed favoring lawn from off the pace this meet. He\'s fun to watch and usually over 5-1 at post time. Just watched another textbook ride in today\'s 5th. You get him on a Cozzene and he pays $19.60. I should be playing instead of watching!

I bet the #12 Into Mischief to Win and boxed him in an exacta with the #8 Colonel John, so it was a happy outcome.
