Is Circular Quay going to be 8-5?

Is there anyone in the world NOT selecting this horse? Anyone?

Everything i see, hear, read or feel is that this horse is everyone\'s wise guy horse. People who never even MET a wiseguy are on board.

Am i reading this wrong, or is CQ going to be sitting there at his ML odds of 6-1.
Or, is he 8-1?

Hard Spun at 5-2 ML is a 44 dollar probable price to the Black Eyed Susan dd and CQ is 42 and he\'s 8-1 ML. Gotta do the math on that one.

ok, 8-5 is going a little overboard, but does 3-1 sound about right? Can i possibly get 4-1 on an 8-1 ML?

Gotta feel that the ML oddsmaker made a mistake lining this horse at 8-1.

to date he has not closed with the quick speed that street sense has, and though this race looks like a closers dream, I look for hard spun to win wire to wire or only street closing.  lukas\'s horse determines the outcome in some bizarre way.

imallin, we had the same issue yesterday with the filly race. the wise guys picked Panty Raid and Winning Point and tossed the favorite. PR and WP made the very nice $24 exacta, while the favorite finished third with the dream trip (and PR leaves you alive for some very nice doubles).

good point though, 9-2 or 5-1 on CQ is showing an awful lot of respect for a horse that just got buried by the top two.

Fatso

I\'m with you with CQ, I will playing it hard with Curlin on Top, and going CP West for the exotics under, if SS and HS beat me, then they beat me

Don\'t know why Johnny V goes so so so wide in last, and then bounces off of two three horses. Yes he got buried by the top two in last but he still came running. This horse has a lot of heart.

I didn\'t see all that much run in the stretch Tony. CQ does get points for the wide trip and minor trouble though.

The angle is that he takes to the Pim strip a bit better, saves the ground from post 3, and gets the job done at decent odds.

Problem is, the odds aren\'t so decent anymore.

Good Luck.

Silver Charm

Not only are the odds no longer so decent on CQ ,but the two times he faced Street Sense on dirt, CQ has been beaten by 10 and 9.

And CQ likes Churchill downs also.........

Geez....what do you guys want this horse to pay?  He\'s still at least a $12 horse, thats a fair price in a race where you can toss half the field without a second thought. He has to beat a couple horses, thats all. 5-1 is a fair price.

that 9 was only 4 lengths faster tho Silver (2 points).

4 lengths can be eaten up on one turn.

well ... I\'m alive with CQ in the doubles, and that\'s my play here.
