Once again TG was right on with the numbers yesterday in regards to the Adirondack at Saratoga.  She is still just a baby but she is living up to the first part of her name.  She was awesome in her victory yesterday.  I noticed that she had a \"5\" in the Debutante and I am curious to see what she earned in yesterday\'s victory.

Thank you.

Another Winstar purchase ,I guess at the recommendation of none other than JB.

TGJB

Nope, and at the price I heard they paid (in light of her pedigree) I probably wouldn\'t have recommended her, as a business decision--they have to win a grade one to break even. Having said that, she is a really nice filly.

Why do you assume that teekay?

Winstar and Elliot Walden are clients of Ragozin.

TGJB

They are clients of both myself and Ragozin. They have bought 10 horses through me (including License Fee and Pompeii), and use Ragozin when they want to \"check a number\" on a horse they are already interested in, which Ragozin lets people do for around $20, and avoid paying a commission. Winstar was presumably interested in Awesome Humor (and willing to overpay for her) because she\'s by their stallion, Distorted Humor, who incidentally was bought on advice of yours truly.

It dosen\'t take much to get you guys going ,sorry I\'m not looking to start any trouble .Next thing you know i\'ll be labled an instigator at large and likened to Don King

More lies poppa Jerry?

If you think Winstar is only paying $20 for a number here and there, you are quite a bit dumber than I thought - unless you aren\'t telling the truth.

So which is it? Are you an idiot or a liar? Ok, you can have a third option - both!!

TGJB

Once again, you are just too smart for me. Anybody can be wrong, and maybe this will be the time you turn out to be right--but use what little brains you have, will you? You know Friedman and Jake monitor this site, and this is the second time I\'ve posted about what they charge horsemen. You don\'t think they would have jumped to jam it down my throat if I were wrong?

How about posting on Ragozin\'s site asking directly what they charge horsemen for info on a horse they want to buy?

TGJB

Friendly

Ya know Poppa Jer, you are a real sharpie. I love this post!!

Do I think Friedman and Jake would correct your lies here? You must think these people a real idiots - I give them a lot more credit. Yeah sure, we see Friedman and Jake posting here everyday, lol. Give me a break.

Just out of curiosity, where did you get this theory that people are guilty until proven innocent? This isn\'t the first time you\'ve lied then said you are right until they defend themself or prove otherwise. You give yourself far too much credit - they don\'t care about your nonsense.

How about this, smart boy, why don\'t you ask Elliot and then report the truth?

Now get back to work - you have 10 tracks to do everyday. Between attending the races, looking for plays elsewhere, and monitoring every post on this and the Sheets board, the numbers have to be suffering. Oh, almost forgot the girlfriend - do you have time for one track these days? I know that used to be one of your big arguments; your numbers were supposedly better because you did all of the work. LOL

You are a trip daddy-o!!

TGJB

Okay, I\'ll try this slow and simple, so even you can understand it. Friedman has posted on HIS site about us, although he almost never does because he has no response.

But you don\'t have to wait for that. What I suggested was that YOU post on THEIR site asking what Ragozin charges horsemen for data on horses they want to buy. It\'s real simple, and there is no reason I can think of why you wouldn\'t be willing to do it.

Incidentally, while I have not talked to Elliot about this filly, he has had a few clients over the years (before he went private for WinStar) who did not want to pay my commissions, and he is the source for my information.

Daddy-o,

Did I ever tell you how I love it when you pick and choose parts of my posts for your response? Everyone knows why you do it, they are much smarter than you think, give them a little more credit. Your answer is that Elliot told you that he only pays $20 to check numbers here and there - too funny.

You know what? I\'m actually going to let this one drop. It really isn\'t my business to get them to show you how much they are charging Elliot or any of their clients. I know you\'d like me to press the issue, prove you wrong, then use the info, but it really is unprofessional and I\'m not going to do it.

The sour grapes you have on this issue (I reference your posts above) and the clients that continue to sign on with Ragozin are proof enough of the differences between the two operations, let alone the actual product. You declare victory if you want Jerry, but I think most know you are lying about this and I won\'t stoop to your level to prove you wrong.

nunzio

Jerry,

Do you often find that people (horsemen) respect your opinion enough to ask for it but when it comes to actually paying for your services your opinions magically becomes not so important ?

Nunzio

TGJB

Yeah, at least when it comes to paying what I charge. I get about a call a week from someone who \"just wants a number\", and who tells me they can get it from Ragozin for peanuts. I feel that in the long run it\'s better to restrict the information flow, making it worth more. This results in dry spells, home runs, and uneven cash flow, but in the long run it has worked out well for us and our clients.

TGJB

Friendly

This must be one of those long dry-spells, huh Poppa? You do a great job of restricting the flow of info - NOT!

You sell your knock-off for cut-rate prices at every track I have ever attended. More recently you have put together some \"Simulcast Package\" that lumps around five tracks together for the price of one. You give it away wherever possible.

Speaking of giveaways, have you heard your latest freebie gal Jungle Jen Burke is not being re-hired by Gulfstream? Sounds like Gulfstream got a little fed up with all the Thoro-graph commercials she was doing while she was supposed to be doing her job.

Actions sure speak louder than words with you Jer\'.

TGJB

Hey Jim, I just got a call. Somebody died in a car crash on Hallendale Boulevard, and they want to give you a personality transplant.
You know, I was going to let you beat a (relatively) dignified retreat--you had obviously checked (as I did) and found out I was right about what Ragozin charges horsemen. But you just couldn\'t leave it alone.
As everyone but you was surely smart enough to understand, the flow of information I was referring to involved a horse\'s last number. That\'s why I get the calls to \"check a number\", why Ragozin can charge the small fee he does for the sheet--if it only involved the previous numbers anyone could see by buying a set of either product, or even by looking in our Red Board Room the next day.
Our approach has worked pretty well, I would say. By keeping the info to just our consulting clients (while Ragozin gives his to anyone with $20) we have been able to come up with Victory Gallop, Da Hoss, Distorted Humor, Pompeii, License Fee, and 60 other stake winners, and had Xtra Heat and Magic Weisner (for a combined $350K) turned down by vets (hence the recent dry spell). Ragozin (Friedman) also does commission consulting aside from just selling a sheet to whomever is interested, and they haven\'t had a serious horse since... when?
Be smart. Let it drop.
