I thought SF looked great in the paddock and parade....really shined.  Lava Man humbled me - I tossed him.  what a great effort to take off like he did at the turn...and what a cool place DMar is...some funny things I saw this week:

1.  Gary Stevens getting a chili dog ( or some ungodly thing) at the clubhouse confection stand on the first floor.

2.  ESPN\'s Kenny Mayne getting tugged all over the facility by his kids.

3.  Bartender at Jakes\' scored me a box via his connections to one Ms. Arlene Smith (season box mgr) for Saturday on short notice & I must say, everybody in this little haven is quite courteous and kind - treated us like kings, save for the bartending staff at Brigantine\'s - they cheat on their drinks (substitue cheap liquors in place of what\'s on the list).

4.  Shout out to fellow poster \"Frank\" who served up some great recommendations on what to do and where to go...muchos gracias!

gotta check my AA miles and see if I can return Labor day!
