1-- What\'s Watchmaker going to have to talk about next year? Not only is \"more than 4 weeks\" shot, but if Calder had run that turf stake 1 day earlier, so is \"only two starts at three\".

2-- We\'ll post the figures later this week, but the winner is probably going to get a big negative. Might be worth making a list of the other 3yos this year that have run a negative figure so far this year, and what happened to them after that. Off the top of my head, the only spring 3yo I can remember handling a negative figure and going on about his business is Smarty Jones, though I haven\'t spent a lot of time on this and could be wrong.

3-- Barbaro had a good 3yo top, and a very good pattern for a new top-- at 15 or 20 to one he maybe could have been keyed. Problem is, he went in slower than several and around the same as a bunch, no matter whose figures you used. Which means he was no value at the price-- before the race. Pretty easy now.

4-- CTC-- you should listen to the intro seminar, the part about weight-- your comment about BGC indicates you don\'t understand how we apply it.

Going forward, you stop posting the self-indulgent intentionally annoying stuff, and the guys attacking CTC, while I sympathize, you knock it off too. I\'m taking down any more of that stuff on both sides.

I think Post Position needs to be rethought by trainers.  BD would have been much better off in the 3 hole or 1 hole, same with Lawyer Ron.

Just don\'t see why anyone would want to subject a horse to the trauma of seeing a calvary of horses to his inside.

I\'m the new, improved, meeker, milder, Chuckles the Clown. Until I string 3 derbies together again. But my confidence sure smarts after that one. I\'m coming out of it though. I think I already smell a Preakness homecoming.

But you got some whacko loonie bin Rag infiltrators and they are the ones that you should be worrying about. This guy with the bogus Arazi name is swiping at you generally. On the other hand, I take issue with a single figure now and then is all.

As far as Barbaro running an elite figure, maybe we will have a bone to pick there? Weight isn\'t the issue its trouble and path again. Steppenwolfer was a solid 2 horse, but with all that trouble he earned about a 3 or 4. That makes Bluegrass about a 2-3 and Barbaro under elite. I consider -2 or better Elite.

Barbaro looks tough, but maybe we can beat him next time at say 8-5? Maybe lower?

You might want to leave the figure making to those who do it full time.

I\'m not concerned about your swipes at me, and I can handle the Raggies. But I don\'t want the tone on this board to be what it becomes when you are trying to boost your ego. If you make posts about handicapping and pedigree and not about yourself (example above, \"string 3 straight derbies\"), then things will calm down. If not, I\'ll calm them down.
