he\'s all class, isn\'t he?

Jkev

he sure is. gave this girl a chance, and she say\'s she proved she is a horseman in spite of him. did she prove it when she was stuck on the farm and when no one would give her a horse. lets see how she does on her own. she has not been in the barn since Dec 18 , seems to coincide with when Achilles started to win.  I hear she went to the track on Monday and freaked out and slapped the vet in the face and stated kicking a horse that was being stiched up, also she tried to spook Achilles by jumping in his stall, i hear he ran her out and tried to attack her, what doed that say about her skills with young horses. before you talk about class, what have you done for charities ?

shanahan

class is form...it\'s not about her.  I\'m sure she has her own issues.

Jkev

Everthing he does is classy, what would you know about it

I can\'t comment on the incident at the barn since I wasn\'t there and haven\'t heard the whole story, but as far as Pederson not showing up at the barn - what\'s the point of going there if you\'re not being allowed to train the horses and every decision you make is undermined or ignored?

on the payroll, eh?  I only know what I read - I don\'t hang out in his barn...don\'t have enough black clothing, but I do have a great memory of running a horse who had bad feet & should have scratched in the Derby...enough.

Chuckles_the_Clown2

You only get one shot at the Derby and he led it with about a furlong to go.  Nick Zito got him and got no more out of him either. He was a good horse and may get a Derby winner before he\'s done.

Maybe you should check around she had no input because she had no idea of what she was doing, since day one she was a hat rack.

If the trainer did\'nt hide the fact that the horse had a quarter crack and also the fact that the eggbars would work there would have been no problem. The only thing he did wrong was hire an inexperienced trainer who wnated to prove he could do the job without asking for help

bobphilo

Could be. like I said, I wasn\'t there. All I\'ve heard from both parties was that thet had totally different opinions on how to train the horses, and her input was completly being disregarded, though her name was the trainer of record and she would be held resposible for anything that happened. What\'s the point of hiring someone if your not going to let them do their job. If he had no respect for her ability, why did he hire her in the first place?
I don\'t pretend to know enough about either one of them to make a judgement on their charecter. Just an observation on how things were being done and what was being said. I hope they both get over this and move on. Achilles of Troy happens to be one of my top Derby picks and I\'d hate to see this effect his chances. If Pargallo can get him to the big race in good shape I\'ll be the first to give him credit.

Two horses running fast races on the same day at the Inner Tube are slated to match up in the Gotham. Achilles and Sweetnorthernsaint. It should be interesting.

I\'m back in the office, and I\'ve stayed out of this, but I have to ask. You sign as Kev, but your e-mail is \"ern\". Are you now, or have you ever been, Ernie Paragallo? It kind of makes a difference in evaluating your comments about \"him\".

I can only hope his fellow inmates share your opinion when he goes to jail.
