Thanks. I can\'t believe some of those payouts. She was the second choice.

Michael D.

the payouts don\'t make sense. with 9-2 on summerly, that\'s over 30-1 on NC in the derby. i guess a lot of people who liked SC in the oaks didn\'t take the 3/5 and loaded up on her in the doubles.

error ....... 13-1. still more than the current 11-1.

Michael,

there was a lot of \"arbitrage\" in the Oaks/Derby doubles.

With most of the horses, Afleet Alex was the slight favorite.  However, the Sis City - Bellamy Road double was $11.00, with Afleet Alex $19.00 and Bandini $30.00.

There was 1.6 million dollars in the pool.  I would post the link to the details if I could, but I am getting the info from my Youbet account.

But your math is way off on Noble Causway, Michael.  $11.00 horse in the first leg and a $142 will pay is about 12 to 1 on the parlay price, not 30-1.

Noble Causeway was $48 with Sis City, which was actually made him longer, in the 15-1 range.

Valenzuela didn\'t keep Runway Model in her element . Had her way to close to the pace and she quit before the stretch. I had Summerly/RM in the exacta.

Not so sure Bailey took Prado to cleaners. Sis City just didn\'t run.(not that I bet on her). Cute move by Bailey. Prado said he could tell she didn\'t have \"it\" as soon as the gates were opened.

tony,
yea, you could be right. prado got checked back around the first turn, but the bigger factor was probably the BS going on with dutrow. the guy should be in jail.

jim,
i have looked at too many #\'s today. only a small break in the price.

Chuckles_the_Clown2

Agreed Michael the Dutrow filly may have run clean.

I know you hit that winner. You talked her up months back.

Kev,

I didn\'t play any doubles because I couldn\'t get any prices before the race. I was going to make small doubles with Bandini, High Fly and Greely\'s Galaxy. I wouldn\'t have had the winner of the Oaks though. So I was fortunate I didn\'t play. Thanks though.

i blew it ctc. summerly and high fly were my top three year olds back in february. i took the 32-1 on HF, but passed on the 17-1 on summerly. then after the kee race, i lost some faith in summerly. i had her today, but not a big score. i don\'t think she\'s that good anyway. the older fillies and mares will give her trouble in the fall.
