I quote.

Fairmount couldn’t post as he is an IDIOT and only his home computer is logged in. His picks are the following

Race 8 The Modesty Stakes
Key the 2, win bet

Use with the 4,5,6 in ex and tri.

Good luck and a round of bud light for all my friends.
(Ok I added the last part)

Happy Derby

TGJB: Meanwhile, the overwhelming lack of response is not encouraging me to do this again.

TreadHead: Not convinced 2 likes soft ground.  9 Papilio has a buried soft turf fig, but needs to show us he\'s back to his 3 yr old form here, and did not in his first start.  Also dont love the work tab, otherwise he might be my key.

10 Sparkle Blue also has a buried fig last year and not running his best on TAM turf may be forgivable, much better work tab, and a very nice turf dam.  That\'s my key.  Give me 9 underneath along with 5 Mouffy with some nice figure power and lightly raced profile that may still have a new top left in it, as well as Prat/Pletcher on the 6 Surprisingly.

BOL to all

TempletonPeck: #9 - Papilio for me.

A pretty straightforward case, to me at least: she has the co-best figure in the race (albeit 9 months old) and earned it on soft turf. Also, she has run reasonably well on CD turf previously. I think she wins the race more than 1 in every 10 tries.

I will also use/bet #10 - Sparkle Blue, assuming ML or better (as I type, 8/1 on track and overseas). Her 3rd start of the season was her best last year -- and was about fast enough to win this. If she replicates that pattern today, but a bit faster (as her first two starts of the year, and the sire\'s stats suggest she could), you should at least get some excitement for your money.

P-Dub: No kidding

Where is everyone

P-Dub: Peck I agree with you on Papilio, a def use.

The #2 Aspen Grove ran a top first out 4yo, and these often times move forward again. If she does she can be right there with a decent trip

TempletonPeck: Looks like I will have to be satisfied with a little excitement for my money!

Hope you all did better, heh.

jerry: Used it. Keyed the 2 in tris. Had the triple twice. Exacta once. Thank you sir.
