Any of our Experts have an opinion on this TG At the Races G1?

I will make a case for #2 Jerry the Nipper 20/1 ML.
The NY bred gelding has raced exclusively in NY. TP brings Jerry to South Fla this winter and runs a better than it appears 3rd in the FL Stakes where he got bumped, steadied, lost ground and position. Then had to wait for an opening before finishing strong. Pletcher adds blinkers and should get a ground saving trip near the lead. Hoping TP did not have Jerry fully cranked for last as Pegasus appears to be the goal. Seems to like the GP turf and worked a bullet 47.49 coming off last. A 1W,1W TG one point top of 2, might be enough to be in a photo for the exacta. Gelding got to the races very late and his best running might be ahead of him. Also, was campaigned fairly hard with 7 races in 5+ months. Now freshened and 2nd off layoff.

Great betting race, who you like?

Like Shugs horse the 3
Any move forward he is the fastest horse.
Shug has been aggressive with this horse’s placement.
Right from a maiden to stakes.
Kingman if the other one I like
Definitely some balloons to consider underneath.

I like 2 value plays.... Webslinger and Adhamo. Will key them up and down in exactas with the 2 favorites and perhaps 1 or 2 others.

Good Luck,

In a race where the M/L favorites don\'t appear to stand out - I think there are a few live longshots in the race including Jerry worth betting. I agree that he had a troubled trip in his last and was arguably best - Jose could have easily made the pace but instead deferred the lead to the eventual wire to wire winner. He placed the horse in several bad spots during the race and was arguably best with a better trip. He certainly fits on his best TG figures and I would be happy with 1/2 his M/L price. He is a horse that always seems to show up with a gritty effort and I\'m also noting that the blinkers  go on.
Based on his last TG figure. Kingmax also seems like a live contender at a price. Good Luck.

Will anyone be surprised if the Dutrow horse pairs last year\'s top?

All the Peg races came up very soft.

In the F/M turf, gonna take a stab with Cairo Consort to hit the board at M/L odds of 15-1.  Small bet on top.  Ran well as a fast closing 4th last out off a long layoff.  I expect a decent new top here. Loves the track.

Keeping it simple for now after a first glance. A) Most Valuable #5 Webslinger (15/1). B) Likely Contender - #3 Integration (3/1). C) Include - #9 Warm Heart.

Don\'t overlook #7 Adhamo Trainer -Chad Brown, Rider Flavien Prat, 12/1 and could go up. Well-rested and capable of breaking away on the last turn?

Cellist (8-1) - has the buried fast 12f from Kee in \'22, and a good enough \'3.25\' going the distance last fall. Should get the lead and save all the ground. Rails down and very firm turf should suit. Key.

Francesco Clemente (2-1) - certainly no bargain, but has the good # from Goodwood, and has been lagging too far behind slow paces. Can\'t let this guy beat me from post 1 with Irad.

Stone Age (7-2) - hasn\'t liked the softer courses. Oct Aqu race better than it looks. Last maybe a touch short. Ryan Moore. Best figures competitive here.

Verstappen (9-2) - good figures and Franki. Use.

Key Cellist, use the other three.

And a swing and a miss.

Catnip ran a huge one at 46/1 beaten 1/2 length from the 12 pp for the show.
Note to self: Stidham can get a horse ready for a G1 off a 6 month layoff shipping  in to South Fla from FG shortly before race.
Also something our host stated after BC weekend. European jockeys, Ryan Moore on Warm Heart, are just better on the turf than US based jocks.

I think Ryan Moore gave the best ride I\'ve seen ever on this horse.  The entire media gave it up as \"no chance\" after his post BC race in Japan.  He\'s super cool.  I fell for it, paid the price.

Just burst through a hole at perfect time.  The next time I pay the price is when I bet a US horse in BC turf races.
