HUGE FRUSTRATION THAT DESTROYED MY PICK-5: Derby Day at Churchill, race 1: Team Lukas moves up RAM to an improbable win at 10-1. Using Irad Jr. an eyebrow raise, but I still tossed him and got burned.

\"Thank you sir! Can we have another? Team Lukas did to RAM what they did to OXBOW in the Preakness. An improbable jump forward. I suspect RAM improved a whopping 10 lengths in 2 weeks.

I can\'t wait to see Jerry\'s number to confirm this. Grrrrrr...

I thought the same thing! You could never have used that horse using TG. Everybody wants to win on Derby Day. Remember Masochistic in 2014? I still can\'t believe A.C. Avila is still allowed to train horses after that disgusting incident.

A group of us were going over the card at breakfast and I said Lukas always wins one of the early races and we should look at his horse in the third because the race appears wide open.  First race goes off and I just had to start laughing.

Similar observation as Defunded exploded and more laughter as Mr. EPO scores again and those in charge just laugh.

And now comes word via The Paulick Report that Lukas is considering RAM for the Preakness! Hahaha. The ole \"1-turn allowance mile back-quick to a 1 3/16 mile Grade 1 classic\" routine. No problem.

hellersorr

Well, it wouldn\'t be the first horse entered in the Preakness by Lukas which broke its maiden in a claimer.

Folks routinely overestimate their ability to figure out where, and when these guys will do their best work

It\'s poker, and they get to see all the cards, you don\'t

Yes. OK. So how do you level the playing field? How do you fix the racing cesspool? You set up a system where:

1. Vets (private and otherwise) don\'t/can\'t inject any animal. Vets can diagnose all they want. But they can\'t bring pharmaceuticals into the track. If they suggest a horse gets X-23 rocketfuel, that\'s fine. But they themselves can\'t do the injecting. Boo hoo.

2. Injections are made only at one central track location by some blessed team of vets in the blockchain.

3. Cameras in the barns.

There. Something like that. The sport saved. No charge.

confused

No more vets in white Mercedes?  That\'s the stuff of legends.

C\'mon, half the fun is trying to divine their plots.  It helps to be be a Maggie or equivalent , cause as someone said to me a long time ago , you can hide everything, but you cant hide the horse.
