We looking at wednesday pm for seminar release? Good luck to all, some of
these races look near impossible to me. hopefully some clarification coming...

Races have been drawn, when can we expect the thorographs for those 2 days to be available?? Thx....

Answer to both questions is later today, both sheets and seminar.

There are a couple (as in two) races that I don\'t think are playable, and I say so. The rest are pretty clear in terms of how to approach them, which is not the same as saying easy.

Is there a special for all the sheets for bc races on both days or do you need to get both days for all the races.

Forgive me, TGJB, for question this but the 0-2-X referenced on the seminar? Is that the true intent of said pattern? I had been under the impression that the pattern had to be run on the same surface at a similar distance. Is my original thought mistaken? I’m only asking to clear up my understanding and not to be pedantic.

Thanks.

You need to get both days for all the races.

0-2-X is a definition, top, couple (roughly) points back, then non effort. How you read it can depend on surfaces, etc.

I hope I\'m not giving out too much paid info from Seminar but I have to ask about the excusion of a horse in the juvenile turf who will likely be  one the favorites. I know you say if you don\'t include a horse, he is not a factor and   based on previous figs, I see why you would take that position but this one is getting lasix and working lights out. Also, I think the jock staying with him over another is very, very significant. It doesn\'t seem like he needs that big of a jump and again, first lasix and he is only 2yo.

Keeping it mysterious, I may not have guessed which colt you are referring to but, Rule #222 Jethro Gibbs \"Horses which get into trouble tend to get into trouble repeatedly\". From another perspective the last horse you remember making up much ground @ SA? Then again the surface is different i.e. deeper now?

IMO - your choice is not unreasonable, smaller outfits sometimes win Breeders Cup Races. As you point out Lasix may help maybe a lot In the end, the player must take a stand and a good price by definition will be contrary to the popular opinion.

PS The loss of two entries my help him get a clean trip. Maybe a defensive use?

Good Luck!

Yikes. I meant juvenile turf!

Your question is why the BC presents so many opportunities.  On one hand, you say based on his previous figs, you understand why he was not mentioned in the seminar.  On the other hand, one of the horses JB likes in the race your horse defeated in his last start, earning a better figure.  Does the horse you mention jump up and show he is again the faster horse.  And is that good enough in a field with several other faster horses/equally as fast with arguably as good a pattern whose prices could be at least double this guys.

On a risk/reward basis, my guess is that is why he wasn\'t mentioned in the seminar.

All great points. I can\'t get over the jock sticking with this one instead of the undefeated, graded stakes winner for the trainer that makes him so much money annually.

My opinion on that horse wouldn\'t have changed much, since he\'s one of the favorites and isn\'t fast. But I have to point out that the only way to get the seminar up on a timely basis is to write everything but the Bottom Lines in advance, which means when I do it we don\'t have Lasix changes, among other things. A few years ago it meant I didn\'t have the trainer change to Navarro for Sharp Azteca when I wrote the Derby day seminar, and in fact didn\'t even know it until after the race, when Richiebee mentioned it here.
