Yep, well said Frank. It gives the bots a means to grab that pot at the end of the 🌈 and siphon away much of the value that the bet afforded the little guy.

Clearly, they played bigger tickets on the combinations that were more likely and  figured to pay less, so they didnt lose money on a chalky outcome.

Since they are batch betting , they could accomplish the same thing by buying multiple $2 tickets on the same play .

As far as a single ticket hitting for $1 vs a 20 cent minimum, that makes very little sense.  Penalize someone for hitting it alone 5 times?

If that\'s the way the rule is written , it should be changed.

From Pat Cummings (@PatCummingsTIF)

Looks like about $2.5 million out of $4.1 million in new money came from \"high-volume\" players today in the Rainbow 6 at Gulfstream. That\'s about 61% of the pool and it could be an underestimate.

A reasonable estimate of high-volume betting shop money in today\'s Empire 6, based on pool observations, is $3.1 million out of $6.14 million total. Roughly 51% of total pool. #healthysport #askquestions #demandtransparency #sustainabilityneeded #horsemenwhereareyou

And for more on this topic and what constitutes \"High volume,\" this may be worth reading if interested.

The NYRA Late Pick 5 with no CAW\'s looking more and more appealing. . . .

Looks like the BOTS are in the NYRA late pick 5. This is a big hit for sure, no little guy is getting this sequence.

Mopolka ($21.20) takes SPA finale under @Ericcancel18 for Carlos Martin. There was one winning late pick-5 ticket worth $615,668. The ticket was purchased through Player Management Group, a rebate shop catering to high-end players. The ticket cost $2,940, per NYRA mutuel dept.
