Somebody help me here. I like this horse. I cant find a good video or yesterday but I did of the work before. ZERO chance this was a half mile work in 50. Maybe because his worker broke off after a half that\'s how they counted it. This horse was in the bit for a full lap. Or a mile. Gearing down late but at least for 7F all system go. What else is anyone else seeing. I know his works were discussed in another string but specific to his last two. Mott isnt a 57 guy

I felt he was getting nudged along towards the end and didn\'t respond like he was interested.  He\'s tough for me to back as a bounce candidate that bored in the lane in his last prep.

Thanks. No doubt there was a slap or nudged heading down the top of the lane. Everything else from there was not only good but look at the brisk pace they continued at all the way around until they backstretch. These are strong 7F to a Mile works and gallops. Country House is a pretty solid horse to be working with. Not an overmatched 2YO who is the feeding lamb. Lot of smart opinions out there. One nudge at the 3/16ths of a solid work doesn\'t make him a throw out.

Forget the workout, I\'d be more concerned about him likely being at the end of his spring 3yo development and needing a find a little more in just four weeks. Either that or catch a perfect ground saving trip. Unlikely in 20 hours field with his plodding style.

I don\'t know what to make of Tacitus\' 2YO numbers pre Lasix.  Is he a different horse on Lasix as so many Euros become when they start using Lasix, or has he developed a lot and the expectation is he\'s at the end of his development?  If one thinks of him as a different horse, then you have his 3YO debut, followed by a forward move and then … What?
