Think the Doc could have gone head to head with Slew in that JCGC and beat him?

It would be something, but they would come home the last 1/4 in 29 seconds!

In his 12 furlong JCGC Slew came home in 49:3. In his 10 furlong Woodward Dr. Fager came home in 53.

....After he caught a 28:1 breather from 6f to the mile, but I agree, pure guts!
