If you don\'t think this is serious -- well -- I don\'t know what to say. This is not a political forum but no way Comey \"continues this investigation\" unless he has become knowledgeable about something -- very serious.

But he sure made it pertinent by saying he didn\'t know if it was pertinent. I read his letter 3 times and came away with different impressions every time.

By the time I posted that yesterday, it was 100% a known thing that Comey was *not* reopening an investigation - as TGJB said, in his letter Comey specifically said they didn\'t know whether it mattered (or what \'it\' was, or how long it would take to figure those things out).

By now, it appears clear that the emails in question were sent by an aide, not by HRC. In fact, sources are suggesting that many, or even all, of the emails could be duplicates of emails already produced.

Beyond that, Comey has sent a second letter, internal, which of course has gone wide, in which he basically acknowledges that he fucked this up in a very meaningful way.

jerry: He\'s 1/50 now and she\'s 10-1. The most she can hope for now is a tie which deep sixes her presidency but floats the possibility of Kaine as VP. Never befor in my lifetime has this country been so f\'d up. Not even Nixon. And coming on the heels of one of the most eloquent presidents in modern times just articulates how divided this country still is. Racing\'s problems are a speck of dust compared to this.
