I also think you\'re confusing my comments with someone else\'s. I\'m impartial though I use your product for the most part. I really don\'t care about the animus between both parties. Actually, I think it\'s kind of juvenile.

I\'m trying to figure out what the \"controversy\" is over this race?  I used TG as my only resource for the race and it seemed like the 7 was a must use?  What am I missing?

From my notes for yesterday,

Off-PR-X (7*3, 5*2, 9*3) w/ the pair actually being a half or quarter point better than before if I\'m not mistaken?

Bounced off the big effort last time out but had ~month and a half off to freshen coming into this one. Also Had ran very well over track listed as \"gd\" in the past.

The only one entered in the race that had run a better number than the two back 5 1/2 was the 2, and he just moved from a 12-4, an 8 point new top. Huge chance of bouncing, imo.

The 7 was also getting weight from the 2 (2lbs)

The 3 looked tough if he moved forward off pairing 6\'s, and the 8- 3rd of form cycle had paired 12\'s so the assumed forward move still wouldn\'t be enough to beat the 7 or the 3 if one or both showed up and ran their race.

I had him as a must use at a price based on TG only, even if he ran a 7 (highly likely) there was a decent chance that would have been good enough.  Many here are WAY \"sharper\" than myself, if I can find him not sure why anyone could take issue w/ TG for this race?

Or put another way, it\'s not possible to say anything other than TG sheets had this one looking like a very solid play especially when considering post time odds

That\'s not the controversy, those of us who used TG all agree the horse had to be used, and he was hopeless on Jake. But Jake let his guys discuss a race where a 4/5 shot looked better on their stuff, then wouldn\'t let posts stay up about the two races where we looked clearly better.

Regarding this particular sin, I\'m sin free. I haven\'t barred anyone for raising an issue or asking a question, I\'ve been willing to risk looking bad. Witness the fact I didn\'t excise the original post about the Baffert horse that started all this.

In the broader sense, \"without sin\" covers a lot of ground...

The mindset of those guys across the street is really interesting, they\'re the real kool-aide drinkers, and not because of sheet theory. For the dead enders who are left there it\'s a straight up cult, anyone who questions anything is a heretic.

Just once I would like to see the inmates take over the asylum, and ask them to show the sheets for the race on their board. The 3yo that won the grass race, reading back, was 16, 14, 14, with a 10 top at two. Seriously.

They had Takeover Target off three straight 8\'s. Second slowest grass top in the race.

Our stuff will be up in a couple of days. Already did Friday.

The only way I could see triple 8\'s is maybe not including ground loss into the number? Maybe?

That one seemed to keep solid company and win virtually every time ground was saved/didn\'t run wide.

Man, now you have me thinking, what kind of numbers did the rest of the field get in that case?? Tough to reconcile that for sure?
