I took a look, I think Litfin had Outwork slightly too wide on the first turn, we\'re adding 1/2 point.

not to be a smartass, but whats that mean? Wouldnt you take a look when you made the number? or do you go off charts?

I think he means that sometimes he second guesses and re-reviews what his trackman gives him for live ground.  I remember a breeders cup where the call on the turns was huge and these guys were looking at it 4 or 5 different ways to get it right.

TG ground loss was reviewed in depth some time ago, found to be generally very accurate.

At some of the small tracks we don\'t have an observer, and use a computer program to work out probable positioning from the gaps and post positions, then check it manually against the chart comments. The way you know which those are is that where the \"wides\" are (3w etc., upper left) they\'ll be in italics.

Some might say his sheet looks even better with that revision!

Any idea on what the thread was called? Just for my own curiosity..

Don\'t recall the string but people I know did the checking, like a few years ago at least.

Make a random check yourself, it\'s not hard with replays/charts.
