This happens every year. They are hiding at Palm Meadows inside the Todd Pletcher barn. As of right now to you and me they are nameless. Until they get vanned down to Gulfstream Park are blinking on the Toteboard at low odds and you become conflicted of what to do.

Some will win by double digit lengths, most will pay about what you bet. Fight them for a Meet and they will eat you up. In 12 months most will be gone and a new wave of them will be coming in....

My biggest issue with those horses is the difficult pattern read on them once they leave the circuit and come North as many are frauds.

And one of his 3yos will run a negative 2 in the Florida Derby and this board will light up in the weeks before like he\'s the next AP.

Good Luck,

With all the sales and bargains being publicized a couple pre-season plays under the radar. Dateline December 12. 2015 Gulfstream Park FL.

Races #1 Pletcher\'s Neolithic 2nd out 2 y/o proves affection for So. Florida surprisingly pays $8.40 to win after a first out dud @ Bel. I say surprisingly, because it appears the general public that this TAP had no talent after one lackluster race. Reminds me that possibly just possibly pressing on his losers may have merit?

Race #4 Baby\'s Bear Soup another gonna be 3 y/o soon takes down a $75K MCL this time @ 2/1 validating tenet players rule to play those dropping from MSW to MCL especially when previously beaten by a Pletcher Monster candidate. This time a third out winner, where do I draw the line on pressing my bets? mmm... don\'t start.

The Pletcher stable is an enigma. Beating him almost always gets a price but when? turf?, Mondays? Playing horizontals into Pletcher singles? He has too many horses to ignore in FL. Makes my head hurt thinking about it.

He has Prospectus by Uncle Mo in the 8th @ 4/1 early, projecting less? Bargain or ?

How about running a Negative 2 first time out breaking from the 14 hole and making 9-5 look like Christmas. Kpzan!!

You can go all the way back to Invisible Ink of TAP 3YO\'s running 0\'s and minus 1\'s and 2\'s in maidens and 1X\'s. There are Monsters out there....

I know you will all be shocked to know that Khozan will stand at stud for $6500 and this is a \"bargain, considering what he accomplished on the racetrack in such a short time,\" according to Journeyman Farm owner Brent Fernung.

What did he accomplish again?  Two Gulfstream Park wins.  Right.

TAP won with the first five two year olds he started at the Gulfstream Park meet.  Solid training.  2 wins today.

Anyone notice his horses are all at Palm Beach Downs now instead of Palm Meadows?  Guess they like the surface there better.  From an article in January of 2015:  "We were at Palm Beach Downs in 2006, 2007, and 2008 with some horses, and we felt like we had good results there," Pletcher said. "It's a very quiet setting. It is limited traffic with less than 200 horses on the grounds, and a mile track, so I think that helps keep it a good, fresh surface."

Lol I love it. But I\'m really surprised at the switch. 3YO Filly Princess of Julia ran a NEGATIVE 8 off her conditioning at Palm Meadows and Quality Road a Negative 6. But he was a 4YO so I guess it doesn\'t count. And the connections said they had been pointing him for the race....
