I will attempt to fill in for FrankD as he enjoys Northern New England.  The large Whitney crowd included Moosepalm, Michael D, Mathcapper, Warren and David.  TGJB best opinions were against a multitude of favorites.  He said to stay away from Mail, Reload, Jube, Havana, Lookaroundcorners and Take Charge Brandi.

TGJB said to use Zennor heavily and not to throw out Infinite Wisdom;,  Recepta should win and Cavorting was the most likely winner and Bar of Gold was usable at 15-1. In the feature he loved Liams Map and Tonalist and was against Honor Code – almost worked out.  At that point Carousel staff told us we had to leave and cut short the seminar.

The TG Open was held on Friday and as Richeebee ( a late scratch due to illness) predicted I bounced but was still able to defend my title. It was not pretty except for Dick Powell's great birdie on 14.

Nice recap, Sean, and congrats on defending your Open title.  JB had some really insightful \"bet againsts\" yesterday.  I just wasn\'t smart enough to land on the right \"bet fors.\"

The weather was great Friday, even if the golf wasn\'t.  As I predicted, I was a \"short horse\", opening up with two pars, and then meeting my Waterloo (emphasis on \"water\") on the third hole, and more or less downhill from there.  The best line of the day, however, belonged to JB, a ferocious long hitter, albeit occasionally directionally challenged.  He rarely takes the driver out of the bag, but on the back nine, he brought out it a couple of holes and pounded out consecutive 250+ yard drives.  Our delightful playing partner, Susan, said to him, \"See... you shouldn\'t be afraid of the driver.\"  As he walked back to the cart, he looked at me and said, \"I\'m not afraid of the driver .... I\'m afraid of the woods.\"

Finally, a shout out to Richiebee.  You were missed, and whatever malady laid you low, we hope it is short lived.

Bet Twice

I would add that JB also pointed out Monster Bea in the 3rd (12.90-1) which was sadly my only winning bet.  Like many here, had Liam\'s map held on in the Whitney I would have been a big winner on the day.
