PA runs at Parx tomorrow in a G3, 200K turf sprint. PA is 9/2 ML and will face
Bens Cat, who has won this race for the last three years. Elvis Trujillo in the
building to ride. Good luck Jimmy C.

Maybe this should be the ROTW?

Good luck JC!  Knock them out on firm ground!

Thanks all

He should run his race today.

Enhancing his chances is that I can\'t be there as I have a wedding in Temnessee to attend.

Good luck to all

Back by Unpopular demand, a rather verbose analysis of the Parx Dash Race 8.

I find this race interesting and, based on odds, it could be more than interesting.
Observations:

Looks like they have rounded up the \"usual suspects\" for this 200k Midlantic  Dash on the sod.
Haven\'t checked with our Adirondack Meteorologist but appears Philly will be warm and dry today. Temps in high 80\'s. Assuming fast and firm.

In PP order:
1) Bold Thunder:  despite some recent gate problems, the likely pacesetter. Bore out twice recently...6 weeks since last...as far as he goes.

2) Ben\'s Cat- Ponce De Leon up. Always fires for the King. May need a trip from inside with closing style.
The one to beat despite the 123 lbs. Has # power but likely way over bet and worth a shot against.

3) Anzil: 6 year-old lacks # power. Likely stalks or closes. Not today.

4) Stormy Rocit: 5 year old Weaver shipper. Gets a lot of weight in this spot but looks slow versus this bunch. Bore Out in last at Penn not a good sign. Not expecting a breakthrough here.

5) Tightend Touchdown- Classy 6 year old making 3rd start 2015 off roughly 80 days. Competitive on Memorex best. Difficult to see him running over this group with deep closing style. Maybe underneath with a late run.

6) Mongol Bull: Another one that probably has to close here. Has a lot of gaps and is too slow.

7) A Fleet Attitude: Local training star Vega goes turf to dirt with a horse in good form. Dismissing lone turf try at a distance. OK number power on dirt.
The mystery entry ..hoping connections were doing rain dance and will scratch. :).
If not, at likely huge odds, may use sparingly underneath.

8) StormoftheCentury: The star of Mountaineer. Solid connections aiming high with this 7 year old closer. Not likely.

9) Power Alert: Aussie Aussie Aussie...Has number power on best. Race sets up ok for likely stalking trip. Similar set up  to GP Silks Run back in March.  Gets a few lbs from main contenders. Strong contender.

10) Amelia\'s Wild Ride: 4yo in top form for solid outfit. Hasn\'t missed too many dances. (26 starts and 14 as 3yo).  Couldn\'t handle Power Alert back in March with rail trip in Silks Run. (recommend you watch that replay)  and nosed likely top choice in latest at Penn. Arroyo will have to work a trip from the outside carrying top weight. Not impossible but I am leaning to others.

11) Mongolian Saturday: A 5 yo facing a wide trip. One start since Silks Run at GP in March where the trouble line is greatly exaggerated. ( in fact, MS had perfect stalking trip...see replay)  Does get 5 to 8 lbs from main contenders and could work a trip. Maybe worth a use at possible big price.

Analysis:  Ben\'s Cat always the one to beat. (overbet)  Bold Thunder is tricky from the rail.
Power Alert formidable with a firm surface and decent trip. At 4 to 1 or better, likely  key in the verticals. Will mix in the 5,7,8 and 11 with the obvious contenders based on \"Pricing Power\".
