So after CE romped derby weekend, tg was all over how the sheets had his numbers wrong. Its easy to explain today he finally reacted. But on tgs his line looked fairly consistent. however on sheets, they had him much slower going into the Cd race...not sure what they gave him that race, but if it was a big jump, then a bounce today makes perfect sense. Again, my repetitive point is, there is NO WAY to 100% say a number is wrong. Sheets pattern to me, if indeed last was a big jump, makes more sense than a reaction off tg numbers. Oh, and yeah, he could  have been sick..or not like track..but unless horses start talking well never know. JB did throw out possibilty CE would eventually react i will say that. But overall all he did was run fast numbers on tg....On sheets ill assume he looks like a one number horse vs a horse that runs zeros on tg

TGJB

Trust me, the numbers are right. It\'s not just about one horse that comes out of those races. And it\'s not just one figure service.

As discussed here in the last hour, there\'s something else about this to watch.

ok..ill stay tuned....but some pletchers are running

TGJB

Both his horses in that race didn\'t just get beat, they didn\'t run at all. He had a couple in stakes yesterday that did the same. And yes, the question is whether there\'s a pattern to it.

good call 6 tg.... back to back pletchers...3 on day now.

touchgold

I need the natural hat trick now for pletcher....2 looks strong on both sets....problem is when I need pletcher he doesnt deliver..aside from the 6 last race.

TGJB

More on this when I\'m not betting two tracks, tomorrow or Monday.

A guy on the other board made the point (snarkily) that I used the term \"trust me\" after calling their cult leader on not being willing to discuss how they came up with the absurd Preakness figure. The reason was it was Belmont day and I was betting with both hands, but bottom line is figure makers should be willing to defend the work people pay for. Jerardi and Beyer do, I of course do, the Cult does not (and for good reason).

So-- here are the sheets for Competitive Edge\'s 3/27 race, the one in question. First off, I did the race not only with the rest of the day, but with the days on both sides. (In fact the only race that is significantly out of line is the last race 3/27 where I took off MORE).

Second, the single biggest piece of evidence that race is right is that CE PAIRED it next time out. He was the one whose figure you had to worry about, the only one who got a new top, and sure enough he paired it.
