FE, 8th , 2 mile + race, I have no idea what the pp\'s looked like but today was a very Brite Sabbeth for someone, as that horse decided to do a Secretariat impersonation on run off by 32L at no less than 55-1.

Could be the biggest margin in history for a price like that . The fave , didnt run a step , was dead last and just to rub it in, dumped the rider in the str (just in case).

 What a game.

So then, would this be one of the 20% of races that doesn\'t make sense?

nicely nicely

To aid the discussion..race attached.

With clear, experienced Redboarding eyes, throw out the last four races and this horse is circling back to the fastest dirt number any horse has run this past year.

Your wit is very much appreciated.

So many lessons to be contemplated from this example. Including lost opportunities resulting from misunderstanding duplicating numbers and the downside of myopia. Reverse pool integrity, i.e. the winners price jumps 20 points after the gate opened from 36/1 to 55/1 on the video replay. The horse looked drunk before and during the race.

Now for some extreme fiction - awaiting Brite Sabbath\'s owner remarks tomorrow, stating - the horse\'s good start made all the difference and he had previously been compromised by poor starts @ shorter distances. Not planning to enter BC marathon because he couldn\'t remember if they were having one this year or not. Regarding his other six winners on the card, just a coincidence he muses.

Now for Wednesday another week, another month, another day of New York trainer puzzles.
