Maybe she\'s so much better than the rest of the field that it doesn\'t matter how she breezes and it is 100 percent true that different people look for different things in breezes but for money, I never want to see a horse coming off two monster figures go out the first half of the breeze in 23.1 and come home in 25.3

She may be much the best and this may be just as futile as when I played against Rachel in the Oaks but I have to take a shot against Untappable on Friday.

Maybe the back to back monster efforts knocked her out or maybe she just loves the fairgrounds or as I said, maybe I\'m just wasting my money but I have to stab with Rosalind and Unbridled Forever in the Oaks pools because at least I will be getting paid on the off chance I am right.

DRF has her at 23.4 and 24.4 - out in another 14.  That\'s still slowing down though.

Thank You Marylou had a nice work yesterday, and looks competitive underneath if you think she just didn\'t take to the poly.  Will add value to the tri.  I also like Fifty Shades pair to start the year.

Real hard to see past the top two in the Oaks, though

Be wary of works:

The Mig

\"Churchill downs track didn\'t seem to have much bounce to it today, maybe why many horses didn\'t gallop out very well\"

Two clockers said CD has been that way somewhat since Derby/Oaks horses arrived.

We won\'t know until Friday evening whether Untapable is just a horse who loved New Orleans or is the real deal, but I too have to take a shot of beating her with Rosalind since outside of FG, she\'s been close enough to Untapable to take a shot that she beats her. (I already have a future on Unbridled Forever, so I\'m already covered there) Untapable beat Rosalind at CD the 1st time they met by 2.5 lengths, but that was the only one of their 3 meetings that Untapable got a better sheet number. Rosalind trounced Untapable when Untapable threw in the non-effort in the Breeder\'s Cup and then came within a nose of her when they finished 3rd & 4th at Hollywood. At the difference in the odds Rosalind is the play.  I will be playing Untapable & Rosalind equally in my Oaks/Derby DD with my top 2-Intense Holiday & Commanding Curve.  I\'ll throw a saver in with Unbridled Forever. (Subject to change with post position draw & clocker reports)

One thing maybe to note on Rosalind is she clearly runs when not given Lasix, vs Untabable who\'s BC was a disaster.

And of course anyone who wants Lasix will run on it next week, so maybe one less thing for U to overcome.

Mind you maybe it wasn\'t the Lasix Off maybe it was the Testing On (we need a notification for this...) that made the difference at the BC and since same testing regime in place (although apparently the Oaks horses, while being subject to the OOC testing, WON\'T have 24 surveillance...not explicitly said like for Derby horses) maybe that will do her in.

Lot of \"althoughs\" and \"on the other hands\" there I realize.

I was making a case against her already. In her last at FG, she looked great but to me she definitely did not want to be behind horses and was very eager to get out and to the front. The workout with the 23 early fraction just cemented my opinion that I\'m against her. She ran freakishly fast early this spring and it is tough to keep em together that long and well, she will be 4-5 so it\'s an easy call. michael
