I\'m interested in comments on this race, particularly from the west coast.
From this perspective.....outrageous takedown.

Scared for every person who gambles on racing.Someone robbed of life changing score.

I\'m on the west coast and that was unreal. it looked like a little interference but you\'ve got to wonder what influence track mgt had on that decesion. they will make a mim 100K everyday that this bet continues

miff

Someone claims that the head on replay of the last at GP has been \" pulled down\"....wtf, is that true?

How do you know 12 had only one winner??  Nothing posted or announced at track.  No will pays posted on line that I know of. If you have this info I want to know where you saw it.  13 was 40-1 and was not the only winner.

Box

Re Pk six to the 12 was on HRTV and all over twitter @DRFwelsch.... For what its worth { I did not play race }... 12 horse comes comes out approximately a path and the 13 shied { for once could see head on because no rails out } .. Stewards decision completely reactionary and influenced by fact that 13 came again when settled .. result should have stayed.

TMW

I read it was a $1.4 million DQ!

Since Shanahan asked for some thoughts, I think the DQ was justified.

My impression in the live pan shot was that the 13 was going to go by the 12.
Didn\'t happen.

The inquiry went up immediately. (I\'m watching HRTV) and have no betting interest.

The head on clearly shows the 12 impeding the 13.

The 13 would have won the race had he not shifted inside and then outside again.

I can see clearly why the stewards had to take this one down.

Am not a particular fan of the \"subjective\" rule on DQ\'s. but this was a legitimate DQ imho.

I was just on Twinspires and you are correct, the 12th race head-on is the only one that has been taken off. At least take them all off in order to not look so suspicious or like they are trying to hide something.

For what it\'s worth, I had no dog in this fight and I agree. And I also think the 13 would have won if the 12 wasn\'t weaving in and out in front of him.

Astonishing Star Chamber-caliber BS on their part.   They must think EVERYBODY is stupid.   Leave it up there, and let people decide for themselves.  The house agenda is obvious, but we\'re all going to have to live with that.

Broad opinion among those I\'m exposed to is split virtually 50-50.   In an isolation booth and not affected by outside noise, I probably take it down, but with some measure of misgivings.

Know about getting screwed.   My 1994 at Saratoga -- which was good -- would have been signficantly better if the stews at the time hadn\'t decided to DQ a young, rising jock (an epic star, now), who they decided to \"teach a lesson\"  Horse won by 3, was best six ways to Sunday, and any infraction was slight at best, and marginal at worst.  It still hurts.

Ahem....general rule of thumb by most stewards....no contact,no take down. If there was ever a case to leave the horse up and fine the pin headed jockey, not punish the players, this was a poster example.

No skin either, dont absolutely agree the 13 was winning without the snaking by the 12.

A brutal beat again yesterday at Gulfstream.  The Rainbow Six would have paid out to the #3.

u can still see the head on via the pan shot inquiry. no idea why they took down the full head on
