JCovello,

Just getting to watch today\'s Churchill card.  River Rocks ran a fantastic race.  The track didn\'t seem to favor front runners except a 6/5 horse that Lanerie kept off the rail that won and Arroyo did the same for you keeping him off the rail.  Are you thinking he is a one turn kind of horse as you move forward?  Sorry you didn\'t get to the wire before the Calhoun horse but that race will come back with a solid speed fig (mid-90\'s beyer (96?) is about right I\'d guess).

thanks alot for the message

he ran a great race

I think he is a really nice horse.

He was dealing with shin issues all spring and he was still running some nice figures.  after he ran like he was hurting on derby day, we gave him the time off and the barn says he is training with much more enthusiasm now than he was before we gave him the time

they had to baby him in his training before because of the shins and now they feel like they don\'t have to hold back at all and he ran like he was traiing yesterday.

I think he can carry his speed a bit further but typically when they are that fast early, it\'s tough to sustain that around 2 turns at a high level.

I think 7f or a 1 turn mile will be his best distance but I would probably try him going two turns again at some point.

thanks again for the message

Good news, the Beyer Fig of Jake Mo was an 89 which I think was low...I\'ll be looking really hard at River Rocks next time especially if lone speed.  Good Luck.
