I love the comments of pedigree people. Quote Lauren Stich from the Daily Racing Form:

\"While there are questions regarding the ability of Read the Footnotes, Birdstone, and Eurosilver to be at their best at 1 1/4 miles, THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT GRADE POINT AND ACTION THIS DAY WILL RELISH THE DERBY DISTANCE. In his first start as a 3-year-old, going 1 1/8 miles without the benefit of a prep, Action This Day ran well to be a close fourth, and it should put him in position to win the San Felipe Stakes and Santa Anita Derby.\" (emphasis added)

Irrespective of the certainty of Stich\'s comments, I decided to look at the pedigrees of Action This Day and Gradepoint:

What was interesting to me is that Kris S. is the Sire of Action this Day and the broodmare sire of Gradepoint. I decided to look up Kris S\'s recent winners and came to learn he was at Winstar Farm (T-Graph Client) I didnt realize that, so I linked to Winstar Farm:

Note the shiny coat and bright appearance of the eyes and the way the ears are held comfortably erect searching for indication of a challenge.

Seriously, check out the stallion roster here, its interesting, bordering on impressive:

I thought Kris S was at an older farm  and I didn\'t know that he had died. He was about 25 and thats a good age for a stallion. I\'m not sure that Gradepoint has a flawless tail female pedigree and I think the same can be said of Action This Day. I\'m also not certain if Winstar bred Action This Day, but wouldn\'t it be interesting if they did and he won the Derby. That would make two in a row. The new Calumet?

Two of the stallions standing at the farm are TG productions (Distorted Humor and Victory Gallop), and I think I bought the horse that became Kris S\'s first G1 winner (Evening Kris). It was a tough sale because nobody had ever heard of Kris S.

Rich Decker brought Kris S to Prestonwood from Florida, all 3 stallions went to Win Star when they bought the whole operation.

Win Star is no longer a client. They think I charge too much.

Tsar Nicholas didn\'t quibble with Faberge over the price of eggs.
