Delmar Deb: They already have...applying for a 3 day weekly meet in November.  If they do it they want full fields which means less days - like the Monmouth meet 2 years ago.

Can\'t beat the weather.  If our horses go back east, you all should come out here for Del Mar, Part 2!

kencbs: I\'ve previously heard that, in case Hol closed, they would expand Los Alamitos to a 1-mile track and put in a turf course.  Also heard that Pegram is one of the owners of Los Al.  Makes sense if it happens - Los Al is in Orange County, a big market with lots of well-off folks.  Short-term, SA & Dmr will both apply for extra dates.
