Here\'s what we know.

1-- No new testing post-race, meaning for no different drugs. They contend \"super-testing\" is a step down from their usual Kentucky testing. After Keeneland, draw your own conclusions.

2-- BUT-- OOC testing was done. \"Nearly all\" the horses in both the Oaks and Derby had blood pulled at both 19 and 9 days out.

3-- Sherriff\'s deputies assigned to each horse from noon Wednesday on.

4-- Syringes collected and put in sealed bags for any shot given from Wednesday on.

5-- Lasix syringes collected, even though shots given by commission vets. Apparently, however, they are not testing any of these syringes unless they get a positive.

6-- From someone there: \"It\'s true they are collecting syringes. That said, if a vet sticks a tube down a horse\'s nose and gives them a milkshake there is no syringe, and these security guards wouldn\'t know the difference\".

Paulick and the \"Chicago machine\" will be at every CD exit on Saturday to award food stamps to all losing ticket holders.
Love that he interviewed D.Wayne.  Next he\'ll get TAP; a drip off the old syringe.

If EPO can\'t be caught 4 days out, and the deputies were assigned Wednesday at noon, does that mean that in the 24 hrs before that (which would be after the OOC testing had already been done), that it could be administered basically detection free?

Or would they have to worry that the post-race testing would pick it up?

TGJB

I asked similar questions and can\'t get an answer, but supposedly nobody knew when they would come pull blood and the theory is therefore nobody would try it. Frankly, after Keeneland I think everything is up in the air. We will know by what figures we see, though obviously 2 races is too small a sample to be meaningful (unless DOJ pairs up).

Mr Brown, do you know how much it would cost to dope just one singular horse one time with EPO?

Im asking because I would think it would be very expensive.  Not just that but to keep an entire stable on EPO would send a few flags to the FDA, no?

TGJB

No idea and no idea. If you had been here a while you would know Allday admitted developing and using EPO on many horses for top trainers. Do a search here for Allday, most recent detailed accounts I gave of this were a few weeks ago.
