This is my horse, love his sheet, looks poised for a new top. There were questions on his thin appearance. Jill Byrne reported that he has gained weight since arriving at CD.
Jim or anyone else. Did you see him recently?
Anyone see him after his work today? He has been working well according to all reports and is showing more quickness. He won\'t be coming from the clouds. He will be more of a mid pack/closer.
Again, Orb\'s # and style suits him but I do expect Orb to be fave or co-fave.

A lot to like about him and I really want to like him more but he has sort of that Nehro feel to me. Always runs his race but never gets there. Add in the fact that his only win is mdn and he\'ll probably be the \"wise guy\" horse and....

Two big minuses for Normandy Invasion.  This horse reminds me in stature of Alyrob.  I bet him in the Derby.  Thought he was the easily the best closer in the race.  Because of his small size he got bumped around a little bit and finished well back.

the other big minuse is that it sounds like they want this horse closer to the pace.  Nothing like changing your style before the biggest race you will ever run in.  Dance with who brung ya.

The small horse being bumped around in a 20-horse field angle is overstated IMO.  I\'ve seen this horse take plenty of shots in some of his other races and handle them far more professionally than most monsters do.  Definently wouldn\'t leave him off my tickets because of his stature, because he\'s one of the best looking ones in the race IMO, and as long as he doesn\'t get totally mauled (if ANY horse gets totally mauled, I don\'t care how big they are, they aren\'t finishing), he\'s a good bet to land on the toteboard.

As I see it, where NI ends up will be determined by the break.  He\'s only broken better than 6th once (his maiden win), and is more often than not last or next last.  That\'s not likely to keep him out of trouble in a 20 horse field.

If he were a small horse that breaks on top of everyone, it wouldn\'t matter.  But that\'s not his game. I might like him better if he draws way outside.

Outside? Really. His whole career he has been outside. He has 1 win.

Agreed.  I think this is the kind of horse Borel would be extremely dangerous with on the inside lane.  I don\'t think JJ will have him down there though.
