If tonight\'s track is similar to the they race on next week, the \"new\" track crew will have succeeded in doing the exact same thing the old crew did.  Speed dead.  Horses near the front no good, regardless of pace and quality.

Grinders and closers move up a notch.  Will be watching this surface this week.

Let\'s watch a bit closer before making any conclusions. They were expecting heavy rain and got it before the end of the card last night; so who knows what grooming was done?

Terrible track record for that crew the last few years no doubt and maybe watching track maintenance this week is as important as the workouts?
