File under \"Not That Anyone Cares\". My picks today in the two major preps:

In SA I like:
Super Ninety-Nine (speed horse, Baffert & Garcia!),

Flashback (I think the move to Gomez will give a more even distribution of energy here)

Power Broker (Hasn\'t raced in 5 months but a strong, steady workout regimen for Baffert, Bejarano stays on & he put up a good number on this track last fall. Should be a good price.)

I can\'t bet Verrazano on top at whatever crazy odds he\'ll have in the Wood but obviously he\'s the class of the field if he brings his A game. I\'ll look elsewhere for the winner.

Vyjack is one of my two Derby favorites, along with Orb (as of 3 minutes ago) so I\'ll stick with him here. Thought his move in the Gotham was the best of any contender I\'ve seen this season.

I picked Elnaawi in the Gotham & liked his effort there. I think he\'ll make a move forward to grab a piece here as well.

What does everyone think about the two First Time Lasix horses in the Wood? They don\'t appear to have the speed in their past races but maybe the Lasix switch adds some appeal, especially at very long odds? I\'ll probably end up throwing Quinzieme Monarque underneath my favorites, cause hey, what would a Derby be without an impossible-name-to-pronounce horse?

I\'ll try to topple Verazzano with Normandy and Vyjack. Seems like a suicide
mission numbers wise, but they all toss in a bad one eventually.

At SA, think Tiz a Minister is a logical alternative to those trying to avoid
Baffapalooza in the SA Derby....
