Dutrow Appellate Division Decision-in full

For those interested, the link to the recent Appellate Division decision re Dutrow is attached. The next step in the judicial process is for Dutrow to  seek leave to appeal to New York\'s highest Court, the Court of Appeals. There is no automatic right for Dutrow to appeal. His attorneys (represented by a first rate firm) must make a motion seeking leave to appeal and convince the Court of Appeals that there is something extraordinary about the Appellate Division decision that warrants review. The highest Court reviews only question of law, not fact. Dutrow has a tough road ahead, particularly since the Appellate Division decision was unanimous and an affirmance. If the Court of Appeals refuses to grant leave to appeal this will be over (at least as far the State Court System is concerned) by autumn. (We save for some other post what he may try to do in Federal Court if rebuffed in N.Y).

Why would any court overturn this suspension? Is there something i\'m missing? Getting 10 years i think the guy got off light, should have been a lifetime ban as well as jail time for multple counts of tampering with sporting contests.
