...(meaning the JC position) whether it seems like it or not. I\'m not taking credit for this, since I\'m not the only one, but I have been pushing for it for a long time.

The coverage by DRF of the Udall hearings is a disgrace and Matt Haggerty should be embarrassed.  The article about the hearings is buried on page 17 of the Saturday edition and utterly fails to convey any sense of the magnitude of the problem the Udall commission was investigating or the testimony of those supporting Udall\'s concerns. Historically, the DRF has ho-hummed its way through the drug scourge in horse racing. As the so called Americas turf authority, DRF owes horseplayers far far more than we have received from its editorial content on the drugs in racing issue and the many crooked trainers and vets who repeatedly walk away unscathed.

What do you expect from Racing\'s \"house organ\" ?

If you want anything more than past performances, workouts, and Barbara Livingston\'s
photos, you really need to be looking in other places such as the Paulick Report.

Speaking of the Paulick Report, a very disheartening and disturbing article there
about Cash and Steve Asmussen\'s parents selling horses to the \"killers\",
necessitating rescue efforts.

Oh, you\'ll be fascinated by DRF\'s version -- also in Sat\'s edition.
