Some interesting differences in figs from the guys across town.  They have Paynter going back in his 2nd lifetime start.  They also have Hierro having never gone back while TG has the last as a slight regression.

I can\'t stop looking at Nonios, know he\'s slower and back up slightly last time but he\'s shipping East poly to dirt.  Wondering if this one jumps up at a price.

Also on the slow side of things Stealcase comes in with a nice pattern and might gives us a feel for how WTDW will perform in the derby.

Using Paynter, The Black with Stealcase and Nonios.

Paynter thing undoubtedly has to do with their Cali sprint figures being too fast, I\'ve pointed out a couple of dozen examples that were obvious (and I mean obvious) over the years. (Beyer has this one going forward even more than we do). I wouldn\'t be too quick to dismiss Hierro, not only did he have some trouble in his last but Asmussen-- who is very conservative-- is running him in the stake rather than the nw1x he\'s eligible for.  Overall Friedman has the right horses as contenders except for the one he picked on top (coming out of Cali sprints), who is not as strong as the others.

Thanks Jerry.  Greatly appreciated.

The favorites ( look tough, not sure why you left Bourbon Courage\'s pair of 3s out here.

The Black looks best to me on pure value and I\'ll probably use him as my key.  Will also use Saint of Saints.

Alan likes saint as well, from radio show this am.

I didn\'t like the notation on BC\'s his last race and as one of the big favs I\'m willing to toss.
