JB,

Great pick for ROTW if I do say so myself...lol

did you bet someone that you could fit \"pseudo-doppelganger\" into one of the ROTW write-ups?

on a serious note, thanks for the analysis, I am looking forward to this race.

Would like a post-mortem on this one.  A bomb hits in the ROTW producing those type of payouts and all we got was a \"too slow to contend.\" What did we miss.

TGJB

You\'re kidding, right?

So a \"must use\" runs second, a \"can use\" runs third, the play against 9/5 favorite runs out, the tri pays $5,716.90 for a buck and what you want your money back on the free write-up?

...yeah, aberrations never occur in this game. Would ban the ROTW scribe, let em go hang out with Tricky for the next 10 years.

Maybe poorly worded request but a review of the race might be useful. The winner had a pattern suggesting he could move forward but so did a lot of other ones.

Pretty funny. Not sure it\'s a good idea though, haven\'t smoked pot in a long time.

This is a lightly raced 3YO who hadn\'t gone backwards yet and had paired his top in a SL Pace race.  I am just wondering playing Monday morning QB if there is something in the breeding or trainer stats that I missed or if it as you say, a complete abberation.  He had won two races since the equip (blinkers) and surface change and was coming off paired tops.  I feel better if it is one of those \"that\'s horse racing Susan....you just never know \" results (to borrow from John Sterling).....but am always trying to learn and was trying to see if it was a bettable result since the ROTW nailed the 2 underneath horses in a race with an awful favorite.  Similarly, our esteemed host correctly nailed the Winter Memories toss, and I couldn\'t pick the winner there either.  I bet the Flay horse that ran out of the money.

JR

Appreciate the conversation. I like very small incremental forward moves as this one had in his last race relative to his prior race. Technically it\'s a pair up but I\'ve had some good luck with playing 1/4 and 1/2 point forward moves especially with 3yos.
