Whoever wins the Blue Grass Stakes will be like the guy who is the last pick in the NFL Draft. Mr Irrelevant!!

But the money is green and the rest of the Card that day is pretty darn good. This coming from someone who is NOT a Big Fan of Synthetic Racing at all!!

Starts with a 1st race $58K Allowance and except for the Commonwealth sprint which drew like 5 horse the rest of the day looks like Good Betting opportunities.

Interesting that the Commonwealth gets a field of 5 when this was the type of race Synthetic was supposed to create Full fields. GradeOne Carter last week BLOWS this race AWAY from the standpoint of quality and quantity.

Silver,

Calling Keenland\'s synthetic main track races \"great betting opportunities\" is a bit like saying playing the lottery is a good betting opportunity.

The grass races at Keenland are a different story.....

I dunno the last race winner today /plus exacta plus super I thought was a great betteng opportunity today...but hey/ thats just me..........it certainly padded my NYRA 1 account today .....

I let that 7th race today slip right through my fingers.   Going to lose sleep tonight over it.

Silver your a glass 3/4 of the way full guy and I love ya for it.

Yes the Carter was a good race featuring two of the best sprinters
in the US, Morning Line (more of a miler) and Apriority.

You did neglect to mention, however, that it was the ONLY good race run at
AQ in about 4 months.

The Commonwealth came up a short field but features 3 Graded SW, a multiple SW
and Aikenite, who had an impressive win over the course about a year ago.

As to the Blue Grass, with apologies to those who have Santiva at long odds in the
Future bets, enjoy the large field of mostly turf runners while continually
reminding yourself \"Its not really a Derby prep anymore.\"

Ritchie I agree its not a Derby Prep anymore. Thats why I labeled the winner, whoever he is, Mr Irrelevant.

Regarding the 5 horse field in the Commonwealth this race comes up consistently short on numbers every year. Or so it seems to me!

Jimbo not every race has to be bet, just like not every $7,500 Claiming race at some tracks has to bet either. One thing about Keeneland crowds is they love the Claiborne-type connections and if a horse has a big dirt Beyer then its all the same right?

And we know that it isnt. Hence......Betting Opportunity.:)

Lost Cause

AQU actually has a nice competitive stakes race today that could probably be a grade 3 event.  Take what you get these days.
