I really think this is the longshot that can work his way into the exotics on Saturday.  Was fast enough at two, moved forward nicely at Tampa.  Showed a nice turn of foot in both the Sam F. Davis and Tampa Bay Derby. No shame in finishing behind Rule and Eskenderya on the days they both ran their tops, and looked to have no room in the Wood or he could have gotten through for second.  If he wins a head bob with Odysseus in the TB Derby, he would have been part of the cavalry charge at CD, instead he gets 6 weeks and fired a bullet last week at Monmouth. Ryan ships him down on Saturday morning and I will be using him. His figures are competitive with this group comparative to his odds of hitting the board.  He\'ll be 15-1 ML and should be an overlay.

I think SD is definitely worth a play on Saturday but I bet him in the Wood and he had a great trip and every chance to make a move but he came up empty.  I believe the connections said he was found to be a little sick afterwards.  With that said his sheet looks great to me and I believe he is ready for a new top based on the 2 yr old number he ran and the 6 weeks rest.
